Any suggestions on getting the formatting correct?

float;#10021.0000000000 isn't very useable.....

That's what sharepoint is storing internally.  My question to you is why are you slamming a calculated value at all?  Why not do the calculation in SQL?

True, main reason is because of about 15 "if" statements I have to do based on the selection of a drop down in the list.

I have a column named "Media Type", in the column there are several options. Daily Newspaper, Weekly Newspaper, Blog, Web Site, Newsletter, Radio and Television.

There is also a column called "Circulation".

I need to calculate this:

If Daily Newspaper selected, multiply Circulation by 2.6
If Weekly Newspaper selected, multiply Circulation by 2.2
If Radio selected, multiply Circulation by 2.7

All rest get multiplied by 1.

I am not a SQL pro, any suggestions would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Well, what are you using SLAM for?  I think you'll likely want to do that "math" in SQL or in whatever application is consuming that info.  I'm not sure wha tthe 2.2, 2.6 and 2.7 represent, but if those were to ever change, do you really want the calculated values to have those baked in?

I am using SLAM to combine many other columns together, for one view. This calculated column is just one.
