Can you specify which view to "sync"?

I'm SLAMing a list where the default view contains a filter.

It looks like SLAM is respecting the filter in the default view, because only list items that match the default view's filter are getting inserted into the database table. I would like ALL list items in the list to be synced.

Is there a way to specify another view to use (other than the default view)? Or maybe I'm missing something?

I have never seen this behavior.  When Synch occurs Lists are processed by iterating through all items in Items of the SPList.  To my knowledge Items does not return the default view but actually every item contained in the list.  When you save an item that you have filtered out of your view does it appear in the SLAM table?
